We manufacture a range of thermostatically controlled melting tanks
and pots of various capacities. These units are very reliable, requiring
little or no maintenance. They are of robust construction and incorporate a
heavy aluminium casting enabling even heat distribution. There are two main uses for our range equipment. There is a range for
the mould making industry. These are used to produce moulds to cast items
from plaster, cement, concrete, polyester and glass fibre (GRP) laminates.
Depending on the compound selected, the moulds can be reused many times often
with even the finest detail being faithfully reproduced. The mould can then
be re-melted and the compound re-cast. Our range of melting tanks and pots
are used by people in a vast array of industries. For example, Sculptors,
Ornate Plasterers, Architectural Manufacturers, Film Producers, Puppeteers
and Animators. They are also widely used in T.V, theatre, props and special
effect studios as well as in arts and crafts, building and decorating. Our other range of units can be used for the melting of protective
coatings. For example, components, tools and gauges can be easily dipped in
the molten strippable coating which protects against rust and damage from
transportation and storage. The coating does not adhere to the item, but
envelopes it in a protective jacket which can be easily stripped and
re-melted for future use. |
